I have a job interview tonight right after work!! I am terribly nervous and excited! Wish me luck! :)
These are a few images from my Black and White project that I did while in school at NESOP. The title of this project is 5 Martin Rd. It is a story of father and daughter. It is also about the life we had and trying to preserve the memory of how beautiful our house and family used to be.
Overcast days during Autumn are the absolute best! I really do have a bit of a leaf obsession, as this is another image from the Flume Gorge!
This is one of my favorite images from last weekend at the Flume Gorge. I absolutely love it there!
This self portrait that I made in 2011 still greatly represents my feelings toward this stage of my life. Where I’m living, what I’m doing, where I’m going.. or not going.
It is beautiful and painful at the same time.
Flume Gorge, NH
I think I have a slight obsession with leaves..
TBT! Some of my favorite images from my creative imaging portfolio. This body of work is titled Looking into the Past. It is a mix between colored images from the past and present life in black and white.
The first image is my favorite. Myself at 20; looking up into the eyes of my 22 year old mother, two years before she had me.
I can’t wait to make more of these! This and my black and white project both helped me work through so many issues. Art therapy, for real.
I get to see my best friend Friday night!!! Her mom is making us all dinner and I’m bringing a bottle of wine. Shit. I can’t freaking wait. And Eddie is the most incredible fiancé ever!! He’s going to pick her up when he gets out of work (a 45 minute drive) and bring her home on Saturday. I can’t even handle how amazing he is! Delivering my best friend so we can hang out.. its literally been months since we’ve seen each other. SO EXCITED!
Is it Friday yet?!
*Edit* Turns out she has the flu.. Blah. This little date will be happening as soon as she is better!!
Eddie and I went apple picking at Russel Orchards a couple weeks ago! It was so much fun and SO beautiful there! I would have killed to bring all the pumpkins home! Haha. They had so many animals there too! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see much of them. We were trying to make it to Eddie’s cousin’s football game. Next year, though! I can’t wait to go back! And I’m not just saying that because we are out of apples! ;)
How quickly a one hour nap turns into two.. I am wide awake and ready for the day!
..What am I going to do with all this energy?!
So. This summer, I started taking Saturdays off to spend with Eddie. I think this was my first Saturday off. July 20th. Eddie told me that he had looked up this place that he knew I would love. We were going there for the day. It was a two and a half hour drive up to the White Mountains.. And the stupid gps got us lost when we were a mile away! I was beyond excited when we finally got there. The Flume Gorge was absolutely gorgeous! There was a trail all the way around.. at least a couple miles. And it down poured on us twice! It was so much fun!! And Eddie was such a good sport, offering to carry our bag and my camera bag for me :) This was definitely one of the best dates ever! He knows exactly what I love and he did this all on his own :) I love this man so freaking much!!
And I cannot wait to go back to the Gorge next weekend!
Nothing like being told you aren’t qualified for a job that you’ve been doing for the past six years. Screw everyone. I just need a new job!
I just applied to a new job. I seriously hope I get it. Eddie and I are way too broke right now.. All I want is to be free from my obnoxious loans so I can actually start living my life! Grrr.
